Tension – A Body of Work

Abira completed a series of artworks strung on gold wire across a reverent frame depicting the muscular structure of a dancer’s body painted from various aspects of a dancer’s body in movement (tension). The wire is also strung around the frame depicting a complex foundational ‘framework’ that is the form of a dancer’s beautifully manipulated body when in motion.
