After receiving a huge audition turn-out, Abira was selected as featured dancer for Disney’s The Little Mermaid production presented by The Hills Musical Theatre Company.

The show, based on Romeo and Juliet and composed by the legendary Leonard Bernstein, follows two young lovers from feuding families in 1950s New York City. The families head up two racially-divided gangs, the white Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.

Abira was selected from over 650 auditionees to play an orphan in Packemin’s production of ANNIE, starring Amanda Muggleton (Prisoner, Hello Dolly, Shirley Valentine) as Miss Hannigan and Rodney Dobson (Wicked, Miss Saigon, The Full Monty) as Oliver ‘Daddy’ Warbucks.
